With its roots in classic workwear of the '50s and '60s, our Odessa now comes in mid-century twill, a hearty cotton zig-zag woven with a little stretch. It's durable and weighty like canvas yet buttery-soft and will only get more character the more life you throw at it.

    Rowan is over-priced, but I love this quality jacket.

    Rowan is over-priced, but I love this quality jacket. I have two; one in blue and one in tan. I have two accomplished fashion designers in my family, so I know most garments cost far more than their production cost. I know I could have easily found a cool, quality jacket at a much lower price elsewhere. However, Rowan stuff fits me, buying from Rowan was easier than hunting, and I just like hanging out with the staff. I paid for the ease and the experience, which is what they're counting on; and I don't regret it.

    Rugged Twill Fits Great and will last a Lifetime

    This jacket has such a rugged quality to it but in a soft twill fabric. Fits great and works well with jeans or chinos. Sleeves are a bit long for me but they unbutton and roll up which works well for me. I am usually an XL in most Rowan items but the Large in this jacket fits well and has a streamlined look. Well worth it!
